“We are all industry professionals and we are all serious about making a difference. Our entire team’s efforts are guided by BlackRook Academy’s values and we want to empower all of the people we work with.
The expertise we offer comes from working, right now, in digital marketing, social media, broadcast and events production, journalism and public relations. Each trainer delivers their specialist knowledge and shares current industry knowledge and tips to bring great ideas to life.
We work to support all of our learners to realise their ambitions and the specific results they need to succeed. That’s all about listening to them and advising on realistic goals. It’s a daily commitment from us that runs alongside the skills training we provide and involves regular one-on-one support outside of the classroom setting. We work to achieve positive outcomes for all of our candidates – whether they are job-seekers or already in work and up-skilling.
At BlackRook Academy we are constantly proactive with a dedicated team pursuing advertised and emerging vacancies on behalf of our learners. Everyone who joins our bootcamps is guaranteed a job interview for a live opportunity – thanks to our ever-growing network of employer contacts across The West Midlands and beyond. That’s helped by BlackRook’s membership of the Black Country Chamber of Commerce where I’m pleased to be a member of the judging panel for the Chamber’s annual Business Awards. I’m also proud to be chair of the Chamber’s Women in Leadership Group – supporting business with a variety of initiatives.
It’s important that all of our learners end their time with us having achieved something meaningful and our commitment has always been that we’re about a lot more than delivering a syllabus. Even after training has ended we remain available to help with advice and guidance when needed.

BlackRook Bootcamps
BlackRook Academy has been delivering digital skills training and employability coaching, funded by the West Midlands Combined Authority, since the beginning of 2023.
We currently run with several full-time, four week bootcamps every month along with 14-week day release bootcamps for business in partnership with City of Wolverhampton College from sites in Walsall, Birmingham and Wolverhampton.
